Irena's sewing ability ends at buttons. Not button holes (which can be rather tricky) but buttons. Thus, she begs and pleads her mom to make her costumes for her. After the Primera costume, however, mom says "No more.", but with a gigantic Hello Kitty beginning to clutter the house and ACen 2003 rapidly approaching, mom pulls through and helps complete the kitty on time.

As of this moment Irena is in Japan... no time to work on a costume, but plenty of time to absorb the Japanese culture to help somehow in the future.

Steph is a music performance major (clarinet performance to be more specific) at DePaul University in Chicago.

Her first costume was Tsukino Usagi, a very simple costume, thrown together at the last minute without much thought. She's so ashamed of it that it doesn't get it's own section. There will be pictures from that year (ACen 2000) up soon, however.

The next year, for ACen 2001, she endeavored to actually try and put all of her effort into Belldandy. Although it didn't exactly turn out as she had planned she is still very proud it even resembled the character. :-P

ACen 2002 was a great year. She is very proud of her Umi costume and ADORES her sword to pieces! After all her hard work and days upon weeks upon months of painstaking work and bloodshed she arrived triumphantly at ACen 2002 with a worthy costume!

Then came ACen 2003... ahhhh, what a year. Ein is her most prized costume to date! Now if only Ein could walk around carrying Umi's sword she's have the best of everything :-P

After deciding to attempt Pen Pen from Evangelion for ACen 2004, Stephanie is once again thrilled and excited to try and create a large awkward costume. Hopefully her experiences with Ein will help her do even better and make a more realistic giant animal costume.
