This costume was made for ACen 2003 (May 16-18)

Irena was the Purple-haired girl on the left and Steph was the girl on the right. Steph made the jackets, ties, and Ein "purse" for both her and Irena, the rest of the items were purchased because it's only a hall costume. Plus Irena and Steph needed all the time they could get to work on their Hello Kitty and Ein costumes which were for the Masquerade.

May 12, 2003 - My skirt finally arrived in the mail! Woohoo!
May 7, 2003 - Irenie and I received the black fedoras in the mail from Berkley Hats!!!! We love them! Steph's Fedora
May 4, 2003 - Pinned pieces together and sewed. All I have left is hemming the bottom and tacking the sleeves and inside of the collar so they stay put... oh yeah, and I need to iron it.  
May 3, 2003 - Had an all-day costume making party with Irena and her costume head and finished working on the test pattern for her jacket and cut out final black material. I was having major problems with the collar but eventually after plenty of goldfish crackers, a little bloodshed, and one trip to Hobby Lobby I affixed the collar successfully.  
March 21, 2003 - Fitted Irena's jacket with pin-holding help from our friend Drew.  
March 17-18, 2003 - pulled an all-nighter and made test jackets for Irena and me... didn't sleep at all, but it was worth it!
- All the pieces were cut out and the body was pinned together. I left the sleeves and collar off so I could do some adjustments later		 StephJacket.jpg
