Lessons Learned:

1. Pink is not a slimming color
2. A costume that looks simple as a drawing is not so simple in real life
3. Making wings bigger than yourself is a task only two kinds of people would undertake - the professionals looking for a challenge and the pitifully naive (guess which camp i'm in)
4. Having a mom who sews is a precious commodity
5. You ALWAYS need an extra yard of gold ribbon even if you don't know what you'll use it for...it'll save everything (story about gold ribbon to be posted soon)
6. Synthetic wigs don't untangle once they tangle which usually happens within the first 10 minutes of wear
7. If you have to trim your wig, don't do it on the bed sheets... baaaaad idea.
